Burfoot Kiki

Burfoot Kiki is a novelty dahlia hybridized by Mara Burfoot of Burfoot Flowers, and a recent introduction. Her four-inch blooms face upward, flat and disc-shaped, with twisting terracotta and mauve petals around a dark raspberry center. The color shifts with the season, starting with intense peach tones and softening toward fall.

She grows tall, up to six feet, so stake her. In return she sends up long, strong stems that don't need disbudding and blooms from early August right up to frost.

Plant her if you want a dahlia that's both a looker and a worker.
