Free-Market Dahlias

Random Acts of Dahlias is thrilled to be part of the free-market dahlia movement, where dahlias tubers are grown and shared with complete freedom and joy. When you receive a tuber, they’re yours to enjoy and cultivate however you wish, with no strings attached—just pure, beautiful possibilities. Let Kindness Bloom!

Guarantee

At Random Acts of Dahlias, we take pride in offering organically grown tubers. Any plant showing signs of disease is immediately removed and properly discarded. A plant or tuber may not display signs of disease, which makes it difficult to guarantee tubers are 100% disease free.

Please note that according to the American Dahlia Society's ongoing virus research, an average of 87% of healthy, asymptomatic dahlia plants carry at least one dormant virus. You can expect that 87% of the tubers we sell (and every other tuber producer sells) have dormant virus.

Each tuber is guaranteed to be viable, with at least one eye (growth point), and true to the variety you purchased.

We ensure that you will not receive a tuber with a broken neck, rot, or one that is too small to contain sufficient energy for growth. While your tuber may not always look perfect or perhaps down right ugly, rest assured it is fully capable of thriving.

Please note that Random Acts of Dahlias is not responsible for any damage or loss due to improper care or adverse weather conditions.

Purchasing

Items in your cart are not reserved and remain available to others until your purchase is completed. Tubers are only removed from inventory once the order is finalized. To ensure a smooth checkout process, we recommend setting up your device to autofill credit card information. If you are interested in a specific variety, we advise purchasing it immediately before continuing to shop for additional items.

Shipping

Random Acts of Dahlias is located in and ships from the PNW. Tubers are shipped once freezing temperatures in the PNW have subsided, which is around mid April. Tubers are only shipped to USA addresses. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

Tubers are shipped via USPS Priority Mail: 1-3 Tubers = 11.00; 4-15 Tubers = 19.00; 16-30 Tubers = 25.00. No additional handling fee.

Unfortunately, combined shipping is unavailable at this time.

Inspection

Upon receiving your tubers, please inspect them immediately and verify the quantity and varieties against your order placed on RandomActsofDahlias.com.

If your order is incorrect, review our Refund Policy.

Shopper Conduct

If you're happy with your order, tell others. Not your not happy, tell us.

Over the last few years the online community for dahlia lovers has become fraught with consumers feeling they can and should handle customer service issues publicly rather than privately. We believe this is bad for small businesses. We chose not to sell to people who behave this way.
